What Is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblically-based, Christ-centered 12-step recovery program designed for anyone struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Founded in 1991 at Saddleback Church by John Baker and Pastor Rick Warren, the program helps people overcome:

• Alcoholism and drug addiction
• Co-dependency
• Grief and trauma
• Anger, fear, and control issues
• Relationship struggles
• Sexual addiction, eating disorders, and more

CR mirrors traditional 12-step programs like AA and NA, but uniquely centers on the healing power of Jesus Christ, Scripture, and the Eight Principles based on the Beatitudes.
